Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods

So, for those who have been watching MTV's Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods, I thought I'd share all of my personal opinions of the show. First off, as a huge Legally Blonde fan, I was ecstatic when I was informed the musical was coming! Then I received the soundtrack as a gift and have been obsessed ever since :)

And when MTV (the channel I really hated) announced the premiere of it's new series "Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods" to replace the Broadway star Laura Bell Bundy (who we will miss), well, I guess the hatred faded a bit :) I mean, they are doing an American Idol-like competition for ELLE WOODS!!!!! Add in Seth Rudetsky & others, and the show is pretty much fabulous. Let's just say I'm addicted. And I am 100% rooting for BAILEY HANKS!! She has the look, the attitude, and the voice!! Plus she really has a great heart. I could only cheer when Cassie S. disappeared from the show-I was practically crying from excitement! Who could stand her back-stabbing remarks and complete un-Elle-like mannerisms?? No one. Which is why she was "cut". Sorry, Cassie, "We just don't see you as the next Elle Woods".

And then last night when Emma was cut, I wasn't sad either. I mean, yes, she looked like Reese's twin, but there was just something that made me dislike her as Elle. Oh yeah, maybe it was her ATTITUDE. It really made me sick.

As for Natalie & Rihannon, they just don't have the look....AT ALL.

Lauren is my 2nd favorite, she could definitely pull the "Elle" thing off.\

But Bailey better win :-D
